Sweet Orange Essential Oil (15 ml) amber glass bottle – “Citrus Senensis”

This variety of Sweet Orange essential oil smells extra sweet. Smells exactly like freshly peeled oranges! So fresh, but calming as well.

Ayurvedic Use:

• Anti-microbial properties, applied to skin, with a carrier oil. May help with acne- prone skin, and redness associated with acne.
• Contains high levels of vitamin C, that may help with dark spots, wrinkles, and may help with the formation of collagen. Apply, topically with a carrier oil, or add to your face cream.

• Warms up the cold quality of Vata, and brightens up dullness of Kapha, through its cheery citrus aroma.
• Reduces excess Vata and Kapha and increase Pitta dosha.
• May help boost clarity, relaxation, and motivation. Research indicates that the prefrontal
  cortex activity illustrated enhanced levels of relaxation, and stimulation. Researchers found, that there was an increase in oxyhemoglobin in the right prefrontal cortex of the brain, which increased relaxation.

• Top notes are uplifting and refreshing. Top notes evaporate the quickest, 30 minutes.

Combines well with:

• Lemon, Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon Leaf, Clove Bud, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, and Rosemary.

How to Use:

• Diffuser, put 5 drops
• Add several drops orange oil to a clean damp washcloth and toss in the dryer to freshen linens.
• Add several drops to bathwater to that may help eliminate toxins, boost the lymphatic and immune system, and calm your nerves.
• Kitchen Cleaner! Add a few drops to a spray bottle of water with or without (lemon oil, and grapefruit oil) for a natural way to disinfect your cutting board, counter-tops, sink etc…
