Lavender Essential Oil (15 ml) amber glass bottle – “Lavandula Angustifolia”
This variety is known for its minimal camphor content, it boasts a sweeter fragrance than other varieties. Often referred to as “true lavender,” it features a distinctly sweet and floral aroma.
Ayurvedic Use:
- May have a sedative effect which can help reduce stress by relaxing the brain waves, which is also said to reduce cortisol levels that contribute to the stress hormone. Can help with sleep.
- May possess, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antiseptic, antimicrobial properties. As well as it may possess, antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifying effects.
- May soothe inflamed skin, promoting speedy healing of irritated and scarred skin.
- The anti-microbial, anti-bacterial properties may help speed up the healing process with burns and wounds by speeding up the production of granulation (surface skin healing tissue), and encourages collagen synthesis.
- May help acne, and canker sores.
- Beneficial for all the three constitutional types in Ayurveda. With its extremely soothing, calming, cooling and tranquil energy, can harmonize and pacify both Kapha and Pitta doshas, while it may intensify Vata dosha.
Lavender is a Middle Note:
- Middle notes do not evaporate as quickly as top notes and linger on the skin longer. Middle notes make their presence known following the dissipation of the top notes, providing the essence and body of a fragrance. Also, middle notes emerge from a blend right after the top notes have evaporated away + give perfumes their main body. Characterized by its ability to persist longer on the skin than swiftly evaporating top notes.

How to Use:
- Diffuser, put 5 drops in diffuser
- Apply topically, for perfume, inhale to relax
- Add few drops of oil in your shampoo bottle
- Massage some into your scalp with jojoba
