Clove Bud Essential Oil (15 ml) amber glass bottle – “Syzygium Aromaticum”
This variety of Clove Bud essential oil has a strong, warm, spicy aroma. Smells just like cloves! High medicinal content because of its content of its higher eugenol component known for its natural anesthetic qualities.
Ayurvedic Use:
- May work for toothache, muscle rub, and joints. May lower swelling and pain with dental, gum issues, and toothaches.
- May have Anti-bacterial, Anti-fungal, Anti-viral, Anti-inflammatory, and Antiseptic properties.
- May be effective as an anti-fungal treatment for candida albicans. Apply topically.
- Helps pacify Vata and Kapha and increases Pitta. Balancing for all doshas, but can increase Pitta when taken in excess.
- May enhance digestion, circulation, and metabolism. Can help counter stomach disorders such as gas, nausea, and bloating. May trigger the metabolic functions, and may warm the digestive tract. Apply topically on stomach with a carrier oil.
Clove Bud is a Middle Note:
- Middle notes oils last longer 1-2 hours. Middle note fragrance is not noticed right away, it may take a couple of minutes to distinguish. Middle notes are soft, warm, give body, and provide a balancing effect.
Combines well with:
- Rosemary, Cinnamon, and Cedarwood.
