🌿Lifestyle Practices During Summer🌿

🌿Balance Pitta & Keep Cool In The Summer🌿

🍃⚘Start off meditating in the morning. Practice daily meditation. Meditate 15 minutes per day, before starting your day to help make you feel relaxed and grounded. Set an intention before you start meditating, what is it that you want to heal? Deal with? Or are bothered with? Setting an intention will train your mind to bring your subconscious thoughts forward.

🍃⚘Also, having quiet/peace (no noise) allows your thoughts to run through your head freely, without judgement. This will allow you to process your emotions, and cleanse your body on a cellular level. Your mental state is a direct reflection of your physical health. Please take the time for yourself. Go, in a quiet room, alone, and make sure no one is in the room. Only your own energy flows. Processing your emotions is going to be an integral part of getting healthier.

🍃⚘Meditating for 8 weeks reconfigures the brain. The cortical thickness of your hypocampus gets larger. Hypo-campus is the part of the brain which is in charge of emotional well-being, learning, and memory. Meditation helps with neuro-genisis, and increases your brain cells.

🍃⚘ Mental Health is key to overall health! Remember, we all have sooo many emotional issues we are dealing with, we are a work in progress, never give up!

🌼Other Tips to Keep Cool In The Summer:

🙏🏾Do gentle restorative yoga, 1 -2 times per week.

💙Start your exercise in the early morning hours, before 10 am.

🌿Spend time in nature!

💕One of the most important things about balancing Pitta, is keeping everything in moderation.💕

P.S. The picture is a flowering cilantro plant in my Mom’s garden in Calgary! Thanks Mom.
