Hello Everyone 👋🏾
✨Anyone can do this at home. Start with 5 – 10 minutes in the morning or evening.
✨Yoga is about connecting your body, and mind. Connecting with your emotions, and how our emotions impact our physical body.
Best time to practice yoga is in the morning or evening hours. In the morning it will help you be more productive, refreshed, and tune into your thoughts and emotions. In the evening it will help you unwind. Yoga has very positive effects on certain areas in your brain.
Yoga Benefits Your …
- Hippocampus, increases the volume, which will help you with learning and memory.
- Prefrontal Cortex/ PFC, increases activation, helps you with goal and decision making.
- Default Mode Network/DMN, regulates the activity of the DMN, which will help your curb rumination, and a wandering mind.
- Amygdala, helps you process your emotions.
- GABA, It prompts the release of Gamma-aminobutyric acid, a neurochemical which helps regulate nerve activity, in turn helping your mood.

Anyone can practice yoga at home, or anywhere. Base your yoga activities on your body constitution, imbalances, and the local climate. Winter time, the Kapha and Vata dominate in our atmosphere. If Kapha is dominant, making you feel lethargic, sluggish, heavy, then move at a faster pace, with quicker breaths, thus intensifying your inner heat. If Vata is dominant, making you feel drained, fatigued, stressed, then move at a slow gentle pace.

Remember this is simple, and anyone can do this. All it takes is intention, consistency, practice holding your poses, and focus on your breathing. Time, 20 – 30 minutes per day. Start with 5 – 10 minutes, and work your way up!
