Ayurveda & General Guidelines For Springtime Foods To Favour 

🍋🍓🍑🍎Fruits to Favour:
Lemons, limes, strawberries, peaches, pomegranates, pears, prunes (soaked), raspberries, apricots, apples, cranberries, blueberries, cherries, dried fruit, raisins.

🍚🌽🍜Grains to Favour:
Tapioca, rye, seitan, rice cakes, basmati rice, quinoa, dry oats, corn, millet, buckwheat, barley, amaranth.

🥦🥔🌽🥕Vegetables to Favour:
Leeks, Brussel Sprouts, lettuce, cabbage, onion, carrots, peas, cauliflower, celery, white potatoes, chard, radishes, spinach, chillies, collard greens, sprouts, turnips, corn.

🥣🥗 Legumes to Favour:
White beans, lentils, lima beans, toor dhal, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, black eyed peas, navy beans, black beans, mung beans, bean sprouts, miso, aduki beans.

🥛Dairy to Favour:
Yogurt, goat’s milk, cottage cheese.

🍤🥚Animal Products to Favour (If you Eat): 
Venison, shrimp, poultry (white meat), freshwater fish, eggs.

🍽🍿Seeds to Favour:
Sunflower seeds, popcorn, pumpkin seeds

🍯Sweeteners to Favour:
Molasses, honey, maple syrup. 

🍴🥢🍵Oils to Favour:
Mustard oil, Ghee, flaxseed oil, corn oil.

🥘 Eat all the spices, this will be very supportive in the spring season. 🍛

Remember this is a GENERAL GUIDELINE of a springtime diet, it also depends on your Prakruti, and current bodily imbalances. Be mindful of the needs of your particular constitution.
