💕 The last post we looked into Vata energy. The 5 elements combine to create Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Now let’s look into Pitta.
🔥Pitta is made up of Fire & Water elements: “that which cooks.” Pitta governs digestion and metabolism in the body; that transmits through carrier substances like: enzymes, bile, organic acids, and hormones. Pitta also supplies the body with energy and heat by the breakdown of complex food molecules.
🔥The main locations of Pitta in the body are: blood, liver, small intestine, spleen, pancreas, stomach, sweat, and eyes.
🔥 Psychologically, Pitta rules: anger, willpower, jealousy, joy, courage, and mental perception, and intellect. Pitta governs all actions connected to the changeover, and shifts throughout the mind & body.
🔥 Furthermore, Pitta qualities are: oily, sharp, hot, light, moving, liquid, and acid. These traits characterize their effect on the body. Some signs of Pitta imbalance are: heartburn, liver disorders, diarrhea, skin issues like psoriasis, heat intolerance especially in hot, humid weather, canker sores, food allergies (especially to nuts), inflammation, hemorrhoids, ulcers and much more….
