🌿 Part 6 of What is Ayurveda? 🌿
💓 The last post on part 5 and what is Ayurveda…We were touching base about how health is a result of harmony within one’s self. When we go through health issues, or an “illness,” it highlights what hidden aspects need healing within the body.
💓 As well as, the fact that health is a participatory and constant process of trying to fully embrace, + engage in all aspects of life: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, socially. As well as family, and universally. Balance is hard, and that is something we can all relate to in the first world.
💓 Enjoyment is one of life’s purposes, according to Ayurveda. Overindulgence in the Western world is a common problem that sucks the enjoyment out of life. Illness is nature’s way of saying you have overindulged. If you do not limit yourself, nature will limit you.
💓 Moreover, if you have a healthy immune system, you will never suffer from any illness. Vedic meaning of immunity means “forgiveness of disease,” – based upon the theory that negative thoughts, and lifestyle are the root of illness. The immune system is a piece of nature. She creates us, nourishes us, protects us from outside intrusion.
💓 Illness highlights what needs to be healed within, an urgency for change. When you have this self realization, and the strength coming from within you…you realize that you are transforming your projections about your symptoms. Letting go of negative emotions, thoughts, people, and events. What a challenge…
💓 Self care is truly the path to seize your power back!
🌿 Stay tuned to, What is Ayurveda Part 7.
💓 Thank you 💓
