🌿 What is Ayurveda Part 3 🌿
💓 Let’s re cap a little .. the last post mentions that the Rishis developed the Ayurvedic system of healing thousands of years ago. The ancient Holy Books of the Aryans, “noble ones,” which is the four Vedas. They are called Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda, and Atharva Veda. All written thousands of years ago. All the Vedas contain medical knowledge based upon the principles of Ayurveda.
💓 The Rishis, (scientist) made huge advancements in medicine, like in the field of surgery. For example, surgical procedures like a Caesarean section in the West has been successfully preformed 100 years ago. That information was recorded in the Rig Veda 4,500 years ago, and the Artharva Veda 3,200 years ago.
💓 Ayurveda is a great gift to us all! Ayurveda is a lifestyle, a whole body approach. It starts with you recognizing the power of self healing. You are your own alchemist…you are your own best doctor.
💓 Trying to achieve good health is a participatory, and constant daily process of trying to fully embrace, + engage in all aspects of life: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, socially. As well as, family and universally. 💓 Trying to attain balance in all these areas would lead to great health! 🤣
