🌿Ayurveda & Winter Exercise🌿
🌺 Winter is Kapha season. But if Vata weather is predominant, (cold and dry)… then you will want to favour gentle, slow, strengthening exercises.
🌺 But if Kapha is more predominant in the atmosphere such as: rainy, snowy, heavy, cloudy weather, than you should push yourself harder exercising by increasing intensity, and duration.
🌺 The best times to exercise is in the morning 6 am – 10 am or 6 pm – 10 pm.
🌺 Please be intuitive to your body, if you feel over worked, and exhausted than please choose Vata pacifying exercises such as: walking, or gentle yoga.
🌺 If you feel heavy, bogged down, and sluggish, then choose a vigorous workout such as: bike riding, jogging, hiking.
🌺 Be intuitive to your body.
